Congratulations, you have just purchased your very own OSIM massage chair! You’ve done all the hard work, filled out every form and now all you have to do is wait for us to deliver it to your doorstep!
But how can you be sure that your new purchase is being taken care of and looked after throughout the whole delivery? Fortunately, you can set your worries aside as we’re giving you an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at what happens to your OSIM massage chair, as it makes the journey from our door to yours. You’ll see just how much we care about you and your brand new massage chair!
Stage 1: From Factory to Warehouse
Our commitment to providing you with top-tier customer service means that we go above and beyond in every step of your massage chair delivery - starting right after your chair is manufactured.
The manufacturer wraps every massage chair in thick plastic sheeting, before placing it inside a strong protective cardboard carton. This ensures your chair withstands any pothole, bumps or grooves we might encounter on the way to your home!
The first stop we make is at the Crewe head office, where your chair undergoes a rigorous quality control process covering over 50 individual checks. We make sure your chair is perfect in every way possible, from its looks and appearance to its performance and functionality.
If we notice any imperfections, the chair is placed under quarantine and we get in touch with the factory to promptly correct these. The overwhelming majority of our chairs, however, pass the testing with flying colours! Once they’ve been given the tick of approval, they are carefully re-boxed and moved into a secure warehouse, where they patiently wait to be allocated to a customer like you!
Stage 2: From Warehouse to Van
Once you’ve picked out your brand new OSIM massage chair, our delivery team gears up to get your chair to your door! You would have given us your delivery details in your order form but just in case, our team contacts you again to double-check! We’ll also ask you a few things just to make sure delivery is as smooth as possible such as the most suitable time to deliver, the best place to park our van and how wide your staircases, lifts or doors are! It might seem like a lot, but they add up and help us provide the best service possible.
Any tools and trolleys we might need also make the journey with us, alongside your delivery orders, receipts, fuel card and any free gifts. Once your delivery address is punched into our GPS, we start the engine and start making our way to you!
Stage 3: From our Door to Yours
Once we’re bound for your delivery address, we’ll phone about 30 minutes before arrival to confirm that we’re well on the way. Traffic and bad weather are all-too-common issues in the UK (as we’re sure you well know), so if we do fall a little behind schedule we’ll let you know too.
Stage 4: From Outside to Inside
Once we arrive at your address, we park the van at your recommended parking spot (such as your drive), press your doorbell and introduce ourselves! We then take measurements to ensure that your chair will fit into your chosen location, and if you need to rearrange any furniture, we’re more than happy to help! Once ready, we begin unloading your brand new massage chair.
First, your massage chair is carefully removed from the back of the van. The chairs are always loaded in reverse order, so they can be easily and quickly unloaded at each customer location during the delivery day. Your chair and your time are important to us, so we always aim to provide a swift but safe installation.
Next, we remove the tough plastic strapping, the protective cardboard carton and the thick plastic sheeting from your massage chair. All the packaging is immediately placed back on the van, to avoid any mess or inconvenience to you or your neighbours. It is then taken back to our warehouse, for recycling. If however, you decide to keep the box, we can place it inside the garage or shed for you.
Have a narrow door or a tight staircase? Not to worry, we dismantle the massage chair which involves removing one or both side panels; usually done outside in a safe area away from the general public. And not to fear, Our OSIM chairs are specially designed to be safely and dismantled by our trained technicians.

At last, your brand new massage chair is ready for action! We show you how to use all the basic functions (e.g. moving the footrest and backrest, starting a programme) and any special features too (e.g. for the uLove: MP3, Bluetooth, hand massager). Our technicians have a great working knowledge of all the chairs, so feel free to ask about anything you like! Your chair comes with a free instruction booklet as well, so you can go over our explanations again. And for our Chinese-speaking customers, they can read the booklet (and use the remote control) in their native language too!
Finally, when you are 100% happy that your massage chair looks perfect and works perfectly, you sign the paperwork and our delivery team waves goodbye - and that’s all there is to it.
